Responsibilities

Employee Records Management and Efficient Filing System

  • Maintain and manage employee records, ensuring a user-friendly filing system.
  • Track, update, and manage statutory information for all staff, including NHIF, NSSF, and KRA PIN certificates.

Interview Coordination and Reporting

  • Organize interviews and schedule candidate interviews.
  • Prepare comprehensive interview reports.

Contractor Compliance Monitoring

  • Monitor contractor compliance to align with company ESH policies and procedures.

HR Guidance and Support

  • Collaborate with staff to provide essential HR guidance.
  • Support staff orientation, confirmation, promotion, and separation processes.

Employee Relations and Disciplinary Procedures

  • Assist in handling employee relations issues.
  • Support the section head in implementing disciplinary procedures when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy HR office.
  • Membership in a recognized HR professional body.
  • Profound knowledge of labor legislation, including OSHA, WIBA, and the Kenya Employment Act.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to coordinate tasks, prioritize workloads, and thrive under pressure.
