About the Education Outcomes Fund
Our Mission
EOF addresses the twin crises of learning poverty and youth unemployment by improving education and employment outcomes for 10 million children and youth. We support governments in utilizing innovative finance instruments at scale, including outcomes funds and results-based financing (RBF) instruments.
Our Achievements
Since our inception in 2018, we have:
- Partnered with governments in Ghana and Sierra Leone, mobilizing ~$50M for education programs.
- Established a leading global presence in RBF, hosted by UNICEF.
- Developed a major partnership with the LEGO Foundation to enhance early childhood education.

The Opportunity
As Head of Communications and Advocacy, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Global Advocacy Campaigns: Design and execute global campaigns to communicate EOF’s mission and impact.
- Strategic Communications: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy.
- High-Profile Event Planning: Manage EOF’s presence at major global events.
- Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with international media to amplify EOF’s initiatives.
- Brand Management: Oversee EOF’s brand to ensure effective communication.
- Content Development: Produce and manage various content formats to distill EOF’s work.
- Team Management: Lead a team of communication professionals.
- Digital Presence Oversight: Guide our online presence to engage a global audience.
- Crisis Communication: Develop strategies to maintain EOF’s reputation during challenging situations.
About You
Education and Experience
- Advanced Degree: In International Development, Education, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible communication roles.
- Strategic Communication: Proven ability to develop and execute strategies within complex environments.
- Leadership: Experience in managing people and leading international advocacy campaigns.
