Strategic Programme Planning & Development

Research for Global Impact

  • Collaborate in the design and development of the program operational plan, aligning with global and regional strategic priorities.
  • Craft well-researched concept notes and proposals, vital for effective implementation of our resource mobilization plan.

Empowering Local Interventions

  • Contribute to the country office work plan and budget, ensuring alignment with our programmatic approach.
  • Assess partner organizations and their proposals, identifying gaps and developing capacity strengthening plans.

Nurturing Collaborative Partnerships

  • Coordinate capacity-building efforts, addressing gaps and fostering growth within partner organizations.
  • Prepare funding agreements for partner organizations, adhering to policy guidelines and procedures.

Strategic Program Management

Ensuring Successful Implementation

  • Guide partners in creating efficient project reporting systems, covering all project cycle stages.
  • Monitor partner projects, ensuring timely delivery of agreed-upon deliverables and compliance with guidelines.

Driving Sustainable Impact

  • Undertake field visits to evaluate operations, address issues, and mitigate risks while maintaining policy compliance.
  • Review and enhance partner reports for quality assurance and create compelling narrative reports for donors.

Empowerment Through Capacity Building

  • Provide technical support and mentorship to partners through workshops, training, and guidance.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop exit strategies, securing sustainability post-project completion.

Qualifications and Competencies

Your Profile Matters!

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies/Social Science or related fields.
  • Training in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Human Rights with a focus on East Africa’s governance context.
  • Proficiency in statistical tools like SPSS.
