Key Responsibilities
As the IT Help Desk / Systems Support, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Proactively assessing user needs regarding software, applications, and installation processes for relevant users.
- Ensuring that all work adheres to established standards, methods, and procedures, with thorough documentation.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting network and computer-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Logging and promptly resolving ICT support issues to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with software licensing and updates to maintain legal and operational standards.
- Maintaining an updated inventory of IT assets and scheduling preventive maintenance to mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- A Degree in Information Technology or a Diploma in Information Technology with at least three (3) years of relevant experience.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in ICT systems, particularly in developing web-based solutions and maintaining databases.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
- Experience in Windows Server and Linux Server Administration.
- Strong knowledge of networking, software, and hardware maintenance.
