As an IT Business Solution Analyst at Bamburi Cement, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of IT products and services. You will analyze data to inform business decisions and develop technological solutions that provide a competitive edge.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Proactively engage with the business community to understand function operations and identify areas for process improvements.
  2. Document, analyze, and propose innovative solutions for business requirements, aligning them with best practices and internal controls.
  3. Collaborate with the business community to innovate new technologies that address business challenges and provide a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
  4. Act as a key representative for ICT, providing advice and being the first point of contact for industrial, finance, human resources, commercial, and supply chain business process-related issues.
  5. Work with Group IT Senior Business Analysts to identify and prescribe workable solutions for business challenges.
  6. Validate that documented process flows are respected and continuously suggest improvements in collaboration with Business Process Owners.
  7. Perform robust solution testing and deployment using a three-tier approach: Development, Quality, and Production.
  8. Ensure that all user requests are duly approved and undergo the internal audit-approved change management process. Document and preserve changes for audit purposes.
  9. Identify training requirements and users in need of training. Provide training and assistance to users and promote retraining as needed.
  10. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the different business process realities at various sites. Recommend and plan solutions within standard practices.
  11. Ensure uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency, and accountability of shared master data assets.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Graduate in Information Technology or relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business systems process design and application development.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Server, Oracle RDBMS, and SQL development.
  • Sound experience in SAP FI/SD/MM and/or relevant qualifications.
  • Proficient programming skills in HTML, SQL, Java, ABAP, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics Tools, with expertise in QlikSense considered an advantage.
  • Certification in Project Management methodology.
