We are seeking talented individuals to join our Nairobi office. Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree holder (or candidate), with outstanding academic qualifications.
• Experience: Background in financial analysis, investment banking, equity research, or private equity is a plus.
• Skills: Strong research and quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis on companies, sectors, and geographies. Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation is advantageous.
• Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
• Initiative: Driven, self-motivated individual who shows initiative and is a team player.
• Certification: Pursuit of CFA qualification is desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an Investment Intern at Kuramo, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting macroeconomic, capital markets, and industry research.
• Assisting the Kuramo Investment team in drafting investment documents for internal audiences.
• Supporting the preparation of financial projection models and valuation analysis.
• Assisting with portfolio management activities.
• Participating in ad-hoc and operational assignments.
