Who can Apply?
We are seeking talented individuals to join our Nairobi office. Ideal candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree holder (or candidate), with outstanding academic qualifications.
- Experience: Background in financial analysis, investment banking, equity research, or private equity is a plus.
- Skills: Strong research and quantitative skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis on companies, sectors, and geographies. Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation is advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Initiative: Driven, self-motivated individual who shows initiative and is a team player.
- Certification: Pursuit of CFA qualification is desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Investment Intern at Kuramo, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting macroeconomic, capital markets, and industry research.
- Assisting the Kuramo Investment team in drafting investment documents for internal audiences.
- Supporting the preparation of financial projection models and valuation analysis.
- Assisting with portfolio management activities.
- Participating in ad-hoc and operational assignments.
