Job Description
Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and youth empowerment? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a GLF Youth in Landscapes Network Intern. In this role, you will work closely with the Youth in Landscapes Steering Committee and the GLF Youth team to coordinate and implement various youth programs across our main regions of work – Latin America & the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Responsibilities
- Youth Program Coordination: Coordinate regularly with the Youth in Landscapes Steering Committee and the GLF Youth team to assist in creating and delivering impactful youth programs at GLF events and partner gatherings.
- Project Team Assistance: Assist in the coordination of YIL project teams across GLF’s main regions of work, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective communication.
Requirements
- Language Skills: An excellent command of the English language is essential. Proficiency in other languages, especially Spanish, French, and Portuguese, is a valuable asset.
- Organizational and Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills to effectively contribute to the successful execution of youth programs and project team coordination.
