Job Summary

As an ICT intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our ICT infrastructure. You will be responsible for system administration, network management, web development, user support, and ensuring the security and stability of our ICT network. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of ICT operations and hands-on experience in various ICT functions.

Key Responsibilities

Intern 1: Network Management and Administration

• Network Management and Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the network.
• Enterprise Network Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the network.
• System Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of systems and networks.
• ICT Infrastructure and Asset Management: Manage ICT assets and infrastructure.
• Server and Network Resource Administration: Monitor and maintain servers and network resources.
• Network and Remote Access Management: Manage network access and remote connections.
• Vendor and Supplier Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for ICT services.

Intern 2: Systems Administration and Software Development

• Systems Administration: Maintain and support ICT systems.
• Software Development: Develop software with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
• System Analysis and Design: Analyze and design system solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with different departments to meet ICT needs.
• User Requirements Elicitation: Gather and document user requirements.
• User Capacity Building: Train users to optimize system use.
• Technical and User Support: Provide technical support to users.
• Applications Customization: Customize applications and integrate systems.
• Process Automation: Implement process automation and adopt new ICT technologies.
• Database Management: Manage and maintain databases.
• Project Management: Assist in ICT project management tasks.

Intern 3: Advanced ICT Support and Web Development

• Advanced ICT Support: Coordinate and prioritize advanced ICT support services.
• General Support: Provide support for systems, networks, and ICT tools.
• Web Applications Development: Develop and manage web applications.
• LMS Configuration and Support: Configure and support Learning Management Systems, focusing on Moodle.
• Technical and User Support: Provide technical support across all branches.
• Network Risk Management: Ensure network risk management and business continuity plans.
• User Training: Conduct training on ICT tools and emerging trends.
• Maintenance: Perform maintenance to minimize ICT equipment and server breakdowns.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, BBIT, Computer Science, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Certifications: Industry certifications are an added advantage.
• Experience: Six months of relevant experience or a Diploma with at least one year of hands-on experience.
