About the Role:
As an Intern – Research & Evidence, you will collaborate closely with Associates and the Research Manager on various organizational research initiatives. From securing ethical approvals for research projects to data collection and analysis, you will gain invaluable experience across different facets of research. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of research processes and prepare you to specialize in your area of interest within the field.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in obtaining necessary regulatory approvals including ethical approval, research permits, and relevant official letters.
- Support the submission of clinical trial pre-registration and protocol papers, where applicable.
- Contribute to the development of research materials such as questionnaires and study protocols.
- Assist in quantitative and/or qualitative data collection, including conducting focus group assessments.
- Participate in training sessions covering various topics including data collection techniques and fidelity rating.
- Oversee or assist in questionnaire design, printing, and scanning processes.
- Aid in data entry, cleaning, storage, and analysis procedures.
- Support the writing and publishing of research manuscripts.
- Contribute to achieving key performance indicators, such as maintaining low rates of participant attrition.
- Assist in organizing and presenting research findings to external stakeholders, including participation in meetings and research conferences.
