Key Responsibilities
As an Information Technology Support Expert, you will:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components of the ICT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and implement security measures to protect ICT systems and data from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
- Provide technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
- Design and manage information systems to ensure efficient knowledge access and retrieval.
- Create and manage digital content for training, knowledge sharing, and communication purposes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending improvements, upgrades, and migrations.
- Develop and enforce ICT policies and standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create clear, informative dashboards and reports.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Information Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, SAS Certified, or Data Science are preferred.
- 3-4 years of proven experience in ICT support, website development, and administration.
- Proficiency in coding/computer programming languages such as Python, C++, R, SQL, JavaScript, and Julia.
- Experience in creating and implementing knowledge management systems to facilitate information sharing and collaboration.
- A solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
