Responsibilities

Designing End-to-End Influence Strategy

  • Develop a comprehensive influence strategy spanning all brands in Africa.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams (E2E, Media) to create and implement long-term social influence strategies.
  • Maximize value from existing partnerships to enhance brand plans.

Building Influencer Relationships

  • Identify and engage digital influencers, cultivating relationships that result in meaningful brand coverage.
  • Explore innovative methods of connecting people with brands through forward-thinking influence strategies.

Market Research and Evaluation

  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging influencer opportunities.
  • Support local media managers in communicating progress within franchises.
  • Ensure budgets and schedules are adhered to for timely and on-budget deliverables.

Capability Building

  • Establish Influencer Marketing capabilities within the African marketing community.
  • Provide guidance, playbooks, and scalable tools to help local markets excel with influencers.

Global Partnerships and Activation

  • Develop long-term partnerships with influencers and brand ambassadors on a continental scale.
  • Execute cutting-edge influencer activations, encompassing co-creation, social commerce, digital goods, metaverse, and more.
  • Localize global influencer activation guidelines for African projects.

Fans Strategy

  • Create a strategy to enhance brand equity and transaction frequency among existing consumers.
  • Engage with fans and incorporate their insights into Integrated Marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with Platform Services to measure plan effectiveness and efficiency.

Synergy and Best Practices

  • Facilitate synergy and common opportunities across different geographies.
  • Implement best practices from other countries to optimize influencer strategies.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7-10 years of significant marketing experience
  • Direct experience in managing influencers and celebrities
  • Preferred experience in developing entertainment strategies and projects
  • Familiarity with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to provide input on brand and creative strategy
  • Proficiency in building influencer capabilities
  • Expertise in working with external partners
  • Agile team player
