JOB SUMMARY:

Join our team as a Laundry Intern and contribute to the seamless operation of our Laundry Department. Your primary responsibility will be to perform laundry services in accordance with Imara Hospital’s established policies, procedures, standards, and strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collecting and sorting dirty linens.
  • Staking stained linens for treatment.
  • Operating laundry machines and ensuring thorough cleaning of linens.
  • Ironing linens, dust coats, and patient uniforms to maintain impeccable standards.
  • Issuing and restocking linen cabinets as needed.
  • Maintaining meticulous records of laundry room consumables.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and upholding infection control standards in the laundry room.
  • Transporting linens to various sections within the hospital.
  • Loading and unloading machines during laundry cycles.
