Position Overview
Amedo Kenya, a leading distributor and marketer of household appliances and electronic goods, seeks a Human Resource Assistant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
In the Human Resource Assistant role, you will:
- Assist in Developing and Implementing HR Strategies: Collaborate with the HR Manager to align HR policies and strategies with the overall business goals, ensuring smooth execution and compliance.
- Support the Recruitment and Selection Process: Participate in recruitment activities, from screening applications to coordinating interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Employee Relations and Grievance Management: Assist management in handling employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, and issues to maintain a harmonious workplace.
- Participate in CBA Negotiations and Implementation: Support collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations and implement CBA provisions within the organization.
- Compliance with Labor Laws: Assist in monitoring and enforcing HR-related legal compliance in Kenya, ensuring that Amedo Kenya abides by the latest labor regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognized institution. Additional HR certifications are a plus.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in HR Management and Administration.
- Labor Law Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: Proficiency in planning and analysis, with a knack for building effective professional relationships.
