Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Provide guidance and growth opportunities for HRBP Associates, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance, ensuring continuous professional development.
Employee Engagement & Motivation
- Collaborate with leadership to build a motivated, inspired workforce through internal communication, surveys, and recognition programs.
- Develop and implement strategies that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Oversee the resolution of employee relations issues, ensuring fair and effective handling of conflicts.
- Implement effective performance management processes, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
- Develop long-term solutions to address recurring issues, promoting a harmonious workplace.
Talent Management
- Ensure optimal staffing levels by leading the recruitment and onboarding processes for patient-facing teams.
- Identify and attract top talent to support the growth and success of Penda Health.
Culture Advocacy
- Drive initiatives that reflect Penda’s culture and values in daily operations, recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
- Promote a positive work environment that aligns with our mission and fosters team cohesion.
Training & Development
- Identify and address training needs, fostering a continuous learning culture.

Continuous Improvement
- Regularly review and refine HR processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and effectiveness.
- Implement best practices and stay updated with the latest HR trends and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-location HR management and team development.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Conflict resolution expertise with the ability to manage and resolve workplace disputes.
- Analytical skills to assess HR metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
