Position: Housekeeper

Job Summary

Golden Gates Hotel is hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and ambiance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: Competitive and transparent, starting at KSh (15-30),000 per month
• Benefits: Health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities

Responsibilities and Duties

• Daily Cleaning: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Linen Management: Change bed linens and towels, ensuring freshness and comfort for guests
• Restocking Supplies: Ensure all guest supplies and amenities are replenished daily
• Report Maintenance Issues: Notify the maintenance team of any repairs needed
• Customer Service: Address guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously
• Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to hotel safety protocols and regulations
• Special Projects: Assist with deep cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in cleaning tasks
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods
• Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability: Dependable and punctual
