Key Responsibilities

Chefs

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes, focusing on flavor, presentation, and creativity.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create innovative menus that attract a wide range of customers.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen assistants and ensure teamwork in the kitchen.

Supervisors

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage staff schedules and ensure proper staffing during peak hours.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in the ordering of supplies.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, ensuring team cohesion and efficiency.

Mixologists

  • Craft unique and creative cocktails using a variety of mixology techniques and ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the bar area.
  • Interact with customers, providing them with an engaging and personalized experience.
  • Keep the bar area well-stocked and organized, ensuring all drinks are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to create new signature cocktails that set the restaurant apart.

Qualifications and Skills

For Chefs:

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Creativity and passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
  • Relevant certifications in culinary arts or food safety will be an added advantage.

For Supervisors:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

For Mixologists:

  • Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a reputable bar or restaurant.
  • In-depth knowledge of cocktail mixing, liquor brands, and bartending techniques.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and balanced cocktails.
  • Strong customer interaction skills and ability to provide an engaging experience.
  • Certification in bartending or mixology is preferred but not required.
