Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain mechanical schedules for motor vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address mechanical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Team Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by identifying necessary parts and equipment, ensuring timely acquisition to support maintenance activities.
  • Record-Keeping: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or relevant training.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in repairing both petrol and diesel engines. Auto electric skills/car diagnosing skills are advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in basic computer software.
  • Valid driving license with experience navigating the busy Nairobi environment and its surroundings.
