About Us: The KASNEB Foundation, registered under the Trustee Perpetual Act Cap. 164 Laws of Kenya, was established on 24 July 2020 to implement the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board’s (kasneb) Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programs. Our mission is to provide financial assistance in the form of bursaries and loans to needy students pursuing kasneb qualifications.

Key Responsibilities for Head, KASNEB Foundation:

  • Advise the Board and Management on Foundation matters.
  • Plan, budget, implement, and evaluate fundraising activities.
  • Develop, recommend, and administer policies in line with Foundation goals.
  • Manage donor relationships and resource mobilization initiatives.
  • Oversee the Foundation’s budget, financial plans, and accountability statements.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Accountant:

  • Monitor project expenditure and manage financial records.
  • Ensure safe custody of financial assets.
  • Prepare annual financial budgets and reports.
  • Manage cash flows and security of cheques.
  • Participate in resource mobilization initiatives.

Qualifications for Head, KASNEB Foundation:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and accounting knowledge.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Membership in professional bodies such as ICPAK, ICIFA, ICS, or related relevant body.
  • Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than 4 weeks.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Qualifications for Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting/Finance Option) or equivalent.
  • Passed Part III or Advanced level of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)K.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Membership in ICPAK or any other recognized professional body.
  • Supervisory Course lasting not less than 2 weeks.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
