If so, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) invites you to be a part of our Graduate Trainee (GT) Program. As the principal revenue collector for the Government of Kenya, KRA is on a mission to lead Kenya to financial self-sufficiency through effective tax revenue mobilization.

Position Overview

As a Graduate Trainee at KRA, you’ll embark on a journey of growth and expertise development. Our program is designed to nurture and equip university graduates from recognized institutions into future tax administration professionals. Through on-the-job learning, mentorship, coaching, training, and volunteering opportunities, you’ll gain valuable experience and knowledge. Plus, you’ll have the chance to explore various roles within tax and customs specialists and industry groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administration and/or support of relevant Tax and Customs Laws
  • Enforcing compliance in tax with relevant Laws

Requirements

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must:

  • Be a Kenyan citizen aged 28 years and below (as of 29th October, 2023)
  • Have a Mean Grade of at least C+ in KCSE or its equivalent, with a minimum of C+ in both English and Mathematics
  • Possess an undergraduate Degree from a recognized University

  1. In the ‘Applicant Cockpit’ page, go to the ‘Candidate Profile’ tab.
  2. Click ‘My Profile’ to create and update your profile following the provided instructions.
  3. Make sure to complete your profile by clicking the ‘Overview and Release’ tab and checking the required box.

Application Process:

  1. Visit the ‘Employment Opportunities’ tab under ‘Applicant Cockpit’ to view open job postings.
  2. Click the ‘Start’ button under ‘Job Search’ to view all available vacancies.
  3. Click on a job posting to see its details.
  4. To apply, click the ‘Apply’ button at the top of the page and follow the instructions, ensuring all mandatory fields are completed.
  5. After reviewing and accepting the ‘Data Privacy Statement,’ click ‘Send Application Now.’
