Working in a hybrid model, this role will be based in either Nairobi, Kenya or Kigali, Rwanda, allowing for both office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities
As the Global HR Fellow, you will assist with various global HR operations, including but not limited to:
- Benefits Administration
- Assist with benefit enrollment and administration processes, ensuring accuracy in data.
- Provide support to employees with inquiries about health, retirement, and wellness benefits.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure benefits are accurately allocated and eligible for each employee.
- Payroll Support
- Help with payroll data collection and review to ensure timely payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, update employee information, and process payroll adjustments.
- Work with the finance team to resolve payroll discrepancies and support audits.
- Staff Support
- Respond to HR-related inquiries, providing guidance to staff and directing them to relevant resources.
- HR Data and Account Management
- Maintain HRIS databases to ensure current employee records, benefits, and payroll information are accurate.
- Help generate HR reports on benefits enrollment and payroll summaries.
- Assist with the creation and removal of staff email accounts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in benefits administration, payroll, and HR data management.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-service orientation.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and Microsoft Office or Google Suite software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the HR field.
