FOLT is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Research, Advocacy & Communications Fellow. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying local advocacy opportunities and implementing actions to support indigenous agendas. You’ll be responsible for capturing neglected success stories while adhering to the FPIC principle. As our Fellow, you will write compelling content for news, press releases, advocacy letters, and research reports. Conducting desk research on rights issues and collaborating with FOLT networks will be integral to your responsibilities. Representing FOLT in meetings, conferences, and managing events relevant to our cause will be crucial. Monitoring FOLT’s ecosystem locally, nationally, and globally will also be part of your multifaceted role. Additionally, you will contribute to creating and maintaining internal systems, including content calendars and event diaries.
