Key Responsibilities
As a Fresh Assistant in the Butchery, your responsibilities will include:
- Butchery Operations: Assist in daily operations, ensuring that all processes are conducted in line with the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Meat Handling and Preparation: Skillfully handle and prepare meat products, following specific guidelines to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, offering expert product recommendations and delivering exceptional service that enhances the shopping experience.
- Hygiene and Grooming: Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards, adhering strictly to company protocols.
- Food Safety Compliance: Follow all food handling and safety protocols, including the segregation and storage of meat products to avoid contamination.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months of post-training experience in a related field.
- Education: Certification or qualification in hospitality or a related field.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in both spoken English and Swahili.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic food handling, including the importance of proper segregation and storage.
