Key Responsibilities

1. Efficient Financial Management

  • Load customer payments into the reservation & content management system (TourCMS) and the financial/accounting system (Xero).
  • Load supplier invoices/proformas into the accounting system and reconcile them against pre-loaded values in the reservation system.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies in supplier costs/invoices by collaborating with adventure specialists (internal) and suppliers (external).

2. Payment Accuracy

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.
  • Send supplier remittances.
  • Monitor overdue customer payments and collaborate with Adventure Specialists to ensure timely collection of customer balances.

3. Streamlined Operations

  • Conduct AP/AR reconciliations.
  • Update supplier details in the accounting and reservation system.
  • Process customer refunds.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to enhance and streamline payment and cost processes.
  • Work with the products team to pre-load tour costs and sale prices in TourCMS.


1. Relevant Experience

  • Previous experience in a travel company with exposure to finance administration, bookkeeping, AP/AR would be a strong asset.

  • Possess an excellent eye for detail and strong administrative skills.
  • Showcase exceptional numeracy and Excel proficiency.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines, ensuring the accomplishment of competing objectives.
