Job Description:

As an Income Auditor at NOVOTEL Nairobi Westlands, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the hotel’s financial operations. You will oversee daily income audits, verify financial transactions, and provide essential data for management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Control: Ensure precise control over revenue and reporting.
Daily Income Management: Manage and audit all daily income of the hotel.
Policy Compliance: Review and authorize rebates and allowances, reporting any deviations from established policies.
Efficiency and Effectiveness: Perform duties efficiently and effectively.
Night Audit Liaison: Work closely with the Night Auditor on all audit-related matters.
Sales Verification: Confirm accuracy of sales from Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments reviewed by the Night Auditor.
Voucher Management: Ensure sequential use of sales voucher forms, report lost/voided vouchers, and maintain organized records.
Guest Ledger Verification: Ensure guest ledger balance and total account balances for each room are accurate.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is advantageous.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar capacity, with pre-opening experience being an asset.
Skills: Proficient in accounting principles and financial regulation standards.
