Job Responsibilities

Reconciling Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Support the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Invoicing and Payments

  • Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately while maintaining organizational compliance.
  • Prepare petty cash journal entries and send payment remittances to suppliers.

Analyzing Financial Data

  • Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Financial Audits and Compliance Reviews

  • Participate in conducting financial and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.

Process Financial Transactions

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Data Entry and Maintenance

  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records in accounting software, ensuring all data is current and accurate.

Document Management

  • Efficiently file and archive financial documents for easy retrieval.
  • Assist in retrieving documents for audit purposes and support the audit process.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes and enhance efficiency.

General Administrative Support

  • Provide crucial administrative support to the Finance Department as needed.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum B Grade in high school.
  • Relevant professional qualifications like CPA and ACCA will be an added advantage.
