FIELD OFFICER POSITION – 54 OPENINGS

Reporting to: Project PI and Field Coordinator, Population Council

Location: Nairobi County

Assignment Length: 3 to 4 weeks

Position Summary: Population Council – Kenya seeks Field Officers in Nairobi County to conduct fieldwork activities across various health facilities. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with excellent communication skills who can work effectively with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Officer:

  • Visit Health Facilities: Conduct visits to selected health facilities within Nairobi County.
  • Engage with Healthcare Staff: Regularly interact with healthcare personnel.
  • Adhere to Instructions: Follow instructions and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Daily Debriefs: Attend daily debriefs with team leaders to communicate field experiences.
  • Equipment Handling: Responsible for the handling and maintenance of fieldwork materials and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Completion of at least secondary education.
  • Age Range: 20-55 years (both genders encouraged to apply).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Kiswahili and proficient in English.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and active listening abilities.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel around Nairobi County using public transportation.
  • Independence: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.
  • Punctuality: Reliable and punctual with commitments.
  • Integrity: Demonstrates honesty and trustworthiness.
