Description: Recruitment of Enumerator Supervisors

The State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs is seeking to recruit casuals for a period of twenty-one (21) days to serve as enumerators supervisors. The primary role is to oversee data collection across several counties in Kenya.

  1. Nairobi: 150 positions
  2. Nakuru: 101 positions
  3. Kiambu: 84 positions
  4. Busia: 73 positions
  5. Uasin Gishu: 66 positions
  6. Bomet: 53 positions
  7. Siaya: 50 positions
  8. Nandi: 44 positions
  9. Trans Nzoia: 43 positions
  10. Kericho: 38 positions
  11. Nyeri: 32 positions
  12. Embu: 28 positions

TOTAL= 762

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a mean grade of C Plain or its equivalent in form four level of education.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge and skills in computer usage.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of the location and conversant with the local language. Exceptions will be made for urban centers considered metropolitan.
  • Additional Advantage: Preference will be given to Community Health Volunteers and those who have held positions of leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Enumerators: Oversee the work of enumerators to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
  • Data Quality Control: Ensure the data collected meets the required standards and is submitted within the given timeframe.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with local authorities and community members to facilitate smooth data collection processes.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily reports on the progress and challenges faced during data collection.

Remuneration

  • Daily Wages: Successful candidates will receive a daily wage of Kshs. 1,300 based on daily targets as outlined in the appointment letter, payable at the end of the twenty-one days.
  • Transport Allowance: An additional Kshs. 1,000 per day will be provided to facilitate transportation for data collection.
  • Airtime Provision: Necessary airtime will be provided to ensure smooth communication during the data collection period.
