Job Responsibilities:

  1. Employee Relations: Manage and resolve all employee relation issues within the company to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Disciplinary Procedures: Lead disciplinary meetings and handle the process of issuing show cause, warning, suspension, termination, and dismissal letters in accordance with company policies and Kenya labor laws.
  3. Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, issuance, and renewal of staff employment contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  4. Personnel File Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, including filing documents and ensuring proper record-keeping procedures are followed.
  5. Other Duties: Assist the HR Manager and HR Business Partner with any additional tasks or projects as needed to support the overall objectives of the HR department.

Education and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Employee Relations Specialist in a similar role, with a comprehensive understanding of Kenya labor laws.
  3. Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  4. Strong computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Word.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
