Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Summary

Sunny Processors Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team in Kambiti, Murang’a. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and safety of our electrical systems and equipment. This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within our factory.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Inspections

• Perform Regular Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve electrical issues within the factory, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency.

Repair and Testing

• Conduct Repairs: Repair electrical wiring, systems, and components, ensuring all work complies with code and safety standards.
• Test Electrical Systems: Utilize multimeters and other testing equipment to test electrical systems and components for continuity, voltage, and resistance.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to maintain safety and minimize factory downtime.

Record Keeping

• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all work performed, including installations, inspections, repairs, and tests to ensure compliance and facilitate future maintenance.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrical technician.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing devices.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
