Position: Editor

Role Overview:
As an Editor at KIM, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of MANAGEMENT magazine. This pivotal role entails conceptualizing story ideas, writing, assigning stories, and ensuring the publication’s overall quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation of Editorial Policy:
- Develop and implement an Editorial Policy to guide publication operations.
2. Editing Style Consistency:
- Implement and ensure adherence to editing styles and guidelines for consistent and high-quality publication.
3. Editorial Planning and Coordination:
- Contribute to the development of an annual calendar and conduct monthly reviews to plan themes and cover personalities.
- Coordinate with the advertising department on advertising features and supplements.
4. Monthly Reporting:
- Timely filing of monthly reports based on post-mortem meetings to enhance magazine quality.
5. Reader Engagement and Market Research:
- Conduct reader surveys to identify market trends and preferences.
- Generate story ideas and commission articles from writers, both freelance and in-house.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Oversee layout, design, content, and artwork for quality checks before magazine release.
7. Social Media and Website Management:
- Ensure timely updates of social media and website with monthly edition articles for publicity.
8. Team Collaboration:
- Organize and participate in monthly meetings with the Management Magazine team to review previous issues and plan upcoming editions.
9. Freelancer Management:
- Manage relationships with freelance writers and negotiate payments.
10. Marketing and Sales:
- Collaborate with marketing executives to develop advertising supplements.
- Market and sell Management Magazine advertising space and subscriptions.
