Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and Deliver Instruction: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the Curriculum-Based Competency (CBC) framework, focusing on Grade 1 students.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages active learning and emotional growth.
  • Assess and Monitor Progress: Regularly evaluate student performance and progress, providing feedback and support to ensure their educational development.
  • Communicate with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in School Activities: Engage in school events and activities to support the overall development of students.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 4 Years of Teaching Experience: Proven experience in teaching Pre-School or Lower Primary levels, specifically handling Grade 1 students.
  • Educational Background: Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE).
  • CBC Training: Demonstrated proficiency in the Curriculum-Based Competency (CBC) teaching approach.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong command of English and Computer Literacy.
  • TSC Registration: Valid registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
  • Personal Attributes: Mature, friendly, vibrant, and dynamic individual with a passion for working with young children.
  • Local Residency: Resides in Syokimau, Mlolongo, Pipeline, Utawala, Imara Daima, or along Mombasa Road or can easily commute to Syokimau daily.
