Are you ready to hit the road with us? As a Driver at the National Employment Authority, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our motor vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Vehicle Maintenance: Keeping our vehicles in top-notch condition by ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.

2. Work Tickets: Maintaining accurate work tickets for our vehicles.

3. Cleaning: Regularly cleaning and tidying the assigned motor vehicle.

4. Reporting: Submitting timely reports on the assigned motor vehicle’s condition and any accidents or mechanical problems.

5. Vehicle Condition: Ensuring the proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle.

Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise Required

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. Proven Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in a similar driver role.

2. Educational Background: A minimum of a mean grade D+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

3. Certification: The Occupational Trade Test II Certificate.

4. Driving License: A valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for the classes of vehicles you’ll be required to drive.

5. Good Conduct: Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable after two (2) years).

6. First Aid Certification: Successful completion of a First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution.

7. Accident-Free Driving: An accident-free driving record for the past 3 years.

8. Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.

9. Integrity: Fulfilment of the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
