Job Summary

Are you an operational expert passionate about running various aspects of warehouse operations in a busy environment that delivers required results to clients? We are seeking a Warehouse Clerk – Grade 1 with mid-level experience in business operations. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will assist the Warehouse Lead in maintaining smooth operations, executing daily tasks, and ensuring daily deliveries, receipts, put away, stock posting, storage, and safety targets are met in line with SOPs.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management:
    • Ensure daily briefing and debriefing is done before commencing operations.
    • Receive goods in good condition and the right quantity from the supplier, ensuring sign-off by driver and security personnel.
    • Carry out real-time data entry of received stocks in WMS (JDA) upon confirmation of receipt.
  • Stock Management:
    • Receive transfer requests for order dispatch and confirm stock accuracy of transferred goods from the main warehouse to the dispatch bays.
    • Fully responsible for product handling, storage, and stock integrity.
    • Participate in cyclic and periodic stock counts, ensuring accuracy in both exercises.
    • Update data entry of transferred stocks in WMS (JDA) real-time upon confirmation of issue.
  • Quality Assurance and Safety:
    • Ensure standard quality products are maintained in warehouse zones and WMS system aligned with physical storage quantities.
    • Champion QSHE and 5S within the warehouse, reporting at least two safety observations weekly.
    • Maintain clear and accurate record-keeping on daily reports of recycle counts and monthly stock takes.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Undertake other duties as necessitated by business needs that may not be part of the responsibilities outlined in this role profile.

  • 2+ years of experience in operational fields, especially in warehouse operations.
  • Diploma in a business-related field.
