DEPOT MANAGER – NKCC/HR/DM/232/01/03/2024

Job Purpose

The Depot Manager, reporting to the Stores Manager overseeing all national stores, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient administration of the regional depot’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Administration: Oversee the smooth functioning of the sales depot.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Stock Management: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to manage stock levels and make informed decisions on inventory control.
  • Product Availability: Ensure consistent availability of the company’s product range at the depot.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and reconcile inventory, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold standards for quality, health, and safety at the depot.
  • Logistics Oversight: Monitor the movement and handling of crates and containers to minimize breakage.
  • Staff Management: Lead and supervise depot staff, including performance appraisals and contract signing.
