What You Will Do

• Send Payment Reminders: Use phone, email, and letters to remind customers of debt payment deadlines.
• Process and Maintain Correspondence: Handle all debt collection correspondence and documentation.
• Monitor Contractual Liabilities: Ensure customers adhere to payment deadlines and contractual obligations.
• Maintain Accurate Customer Data: Keep precise data on customers to ensure all employees have access to up-to-date information on debtors.
• Suggest Process Improvements: Provide insights and suggestions to enhance the debt collection process.
• Achieve Targets: Meet the set targets for debt collection.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other assigned tasks.

What You Will Need

• Educational Background: Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: At least (0-2) years of experience as a Debt Collector, Customer Support Specialist, or DC Specialist, preferably in a financial institution.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
