Job Overview

Apollo Agriculture is searching for Data Verification Agents who are passionate about data accuracy and customer experience. As a Data Verification Agent, you will be a crucial component in ensuring a seamless customer journey by validating and verifying data submitted by Field Agents. This role will challenge your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Location: Hybrid role, primarily based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Contract Duration: Short-term (full-time commitment required)


Key Responsibilities

As a Data Verification Agent, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Data Transcription: Accurately transcribe data submitted by Field Agents to ensure information accuracy and reliability.
  • Data Verification: Maintain a high accuracy rate (target of 100%) in verifying data, closely following Apollo Agriculture’s verification standards.
  • Performance Management: Achieve and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure high standards in data verification.
  • Resolution Provision: Offer first-level resolutions to data verification queries to streamline the process and minimize escalations.
  • Communication and Escalation: Identify and escalate priority issues to supervisors promptly. Offer constructive feedback on verification process improvements.
  • Documentation: Document agent interactions accurately according to standard operating procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in customer service processes and recommend procedural improvements.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports, highlighting any challenges in the data verification process and proposing feasible solutions.
  • Other Duties: Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by your Supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in the Data Verification Agent role, you should possess the following:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma from an accredited institution. Agricultural studies are an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows or Ubuntu operating systems, with extensive computer skills.
  • Internet Access: Reliable and stable internet connection.
  • Integrity and Reliability: High standards of integrity and strong customer service skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, data quality, and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.
