Overview
Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive positive change globally? Ona is seeking a dedicated Support and Data Analyst Intern with proficiency in data management and analysis, coupled with a knack for providing stellar user support. As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring clients derive maximum value from our products, from conducting user training to troubleshooting technical issues and curating comprehensive help documentation and blogs.
Roles / Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis and offer clients actionable insights and recommendations.
- Data Management: Handle data management and processing tasks for client projects.
- Data Cleaning: Filter and refine data sets to ensure accuracy, reviewing reports and performance indicators for errors.
- Statistical Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques to interpret data and derive meaningful conclusions.
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of assigned tasks/projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
- Client Interaction: Represent Ona in client interactions, fostering relationships and promoting our products and services.
The Data Analyst Intern will report directly to the assigned Analytics Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics) or equivalent experience.
- Passion for leveraging data to tackle complex challenges.
- Proficiency in statistical packages (e.g., R, SPSS, Stata) and/or advanced Excel functions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python).
- Proficiency in SQL programming.
- Familiarity with data management processes from form development to visualization.
