Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Customer Experience Intern to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Nairobi, stationed at the J-HUB office in Upper Hill. Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience, this role is crucial in ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for all visitors, clients, and employees.

Role Purpose

As a Customer Experience Intern, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, embodying Jubilee Insurance’s commitment to exceptional customer service. Your role will be instrumental in creating a positive first impression and maintaining a smooth operational flow within our office environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet and Welcome Visitors: Ensure visitors sign in and are directed to the appropriate person or department with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Reception Area Management: Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the reception area at all times.
  • Answer Calls and Emails: Handle incoming calls and emails with professionalism, directing inquiries to the relevant personnel.
  • Visitor and Client Queries: Address queries effectively, providing accurate information and assistance as required.
  • Schedule Management: Arrange and manage appointments, meetings, and meeting room bookings.
  • Department Liaison: Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from visitors and clients to identify opportunities for enhancing the reception and overall customer experience.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with visitors, clients, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic IT Knowledge: Basic IT skills are advantageous.
  • Multitasking Ability: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Positive Attitude: Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
