THE ROLE IN BRIEF

Credit Control Functions

  1. Financial Assessment: Analyze potential clients’ financial statements and credit history, presenting findings for Credit Controller approval.
  2. Debt Management: Actively monitor debtors, reduce delinquency, and take prompt action on non-payment and overdue debts.
  3. Reporting Excellence: Regularly produce aged debtor reports with insightful commentary and contribute future cash collection expectations for weekly cash flow forecasts.
  4. Legal Processes: Provide data for legal debt recovery processes, chasing aged debt, and assisting in reviewing difficult accounts.
  5. Collection Initiatives: Initiate collection calls, resolving complex accounts to unlock payment issues.
  6. Risk Assessment: Structure deals and perform risk assessments for Credit Controller review.
  7. Documentation Accuracy: Ensure internal documentation is accurately processed and raised for additional credits or invoices in line with internal processes.
  8. Collaboration: Liaise with invoicing, customers, commercial HODs, and administrate as necessary to resolve queries, escalating process issues when required.
