Job Summary

Securex Agencies (K) Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic and dedicated Controller to join our team. The Controller will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless 24/7 security coordination and communication as directed by the Security Specialist and Security Focal Points. This role is pivotal in maintaining the safety and security of our clients and organization, making it an integral part of our operations.


Key Responsibilities

Security Coordination and Communication

  • Serve as the 24/7 focal point for all security coordination and communications, following directives from the Security Specialist or Security Focal Points.
  • Operate as the single point of contact (POC) for triaging all emergencies, networking with appropriate resources, and maintaining an electronic log of all incidents.
  • Act as the command and control node for both routine and emergency situations by maintaining communications with security personnel, site supervisors/managers, and Security Specialists/Focal Points.

Emergency Communications and Monitoring

  • Operate emergency communications equipment, including UHF/VHF/HF radios, satellite phones, landlines, vehicle tracking systems, and cell phones.
  • Proactively monitor and track all client and vendor vehicles on missions using the ‘Track 24’ platform, performing radio/cell-phone checks with drivers.
  • Monitor the CCTV system for the country office and initiate shelter-in-place and lockdown protocols as necessary.

System and Equipment Management

  • Conduct daily checks to ensure all client security monitoring, tracking, and operating systems are functional, reporting any faults to the client’s Security Specialist.
  • Maintain an updated list of contact numbers and residence locations for all international and national Client’s residential Staff/Consultants and VMs.
  • Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Update all monthly reports and share them with the head of the department according to issued deadlines.

Customer Service and Reporting

  • Provide customers with comprehensive information about the organization’s services and products.
  • Complete call notes and reports as necessary, updating them in the system.
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries effectively.
  • Record details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, providing feedback to clients on their complaints.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Security Management, or a related business field. A Diploma/Certificate in Customer Service is also required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a busy call center within a commercial business setting.
  • Skills: Tech-savvy with a strong command of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
