Job Overview:

The Control Room Operator at Hydrobox plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing power generation units to ensure optimal performance and uninterrupted energy supply. Located at our control center in Murang’a, you will utilize your technical knowledge to monitor, control, and maintain power generation equipment in real time. Key Responsibilities of the Control Room Operator:

1. Remote Monitoring and Control of Power Generation Units

  • Monitor and control power generation systems from a centralized control center, ensuring continuous functionality.
  • Analyze operational data to adjust equipment settings and maintain efficiency at peak levels, targeting a 99% uptime for maximum plant productivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any deviations or malfunctions to restore optimal operating conditions.

2. Equipment Maintenance Activities

  • Conduct routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and adjusting equipment settings to maintain seamless operation.
  • Diagnose and repair minor technical issues promptly to reduce downtime and sustain consistent power output.
