Job Summary

Position: Content Creator Intern

As a Content Creator Intern at TV47, you will be part of a dynamic team that is at the forefront of digital content creation in Kenya. Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Develop Engaging Content: You will create compelling content across multiple platforms, including blog posts, social media updates, videos, and more. Your content will be designed to engage our audience, promote our brand, and support our mission of delivering high-quality Kiswahili content.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content strategy team to plan and execute content that aligns with TV47’s goals and objectives. You will learn how to craft content that meets the needs of our audience and drives engagement.

Digital Marketing

• Social Media Management: Assist in managing TV47’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. You will help to create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and analyze the performance of our social media campaigns.
• SEO Optimization: Learn and apply best practices for SEO optimization to ensure that all content is search-engine friendly. You will gain experience in using keywords effectively, optimizing meta descriptions, and implementing structured data markup.

Collaboration and Professional Development

• Work with Industry Professionals: You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced journalists, producers, and digital marketers. This collaboration will provide you with valuable insights into the media industry and help you build a network of professional contacts.

Content Distribution

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Kiswahili: Strong command of Kiswahili is essential, as the majority of our content is produced in this language.
• Passion for Content Creation: Demonstrated interest in storytelling, social media, and digital content creation.

Preferred Skills

• Digital Marketing Skills: Basic understanding of SEO, social media analytics, and digital marketing strategies.
• Creative Writing: Ability to write engaging, clear, and concise content that captures the audience’s attention.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic knowledge of video editing software.
