Responsibilities:

1. Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Construction Team Leader and Logistics Coordinator to plan, establish, and review construction activities.
  • Participate in project design, ensuring technical compliance with local construction habits.

  • Monitor and ensure the implementation of construction activities, adhering to MSF standards.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, manage inventory control, and oversee safety standards compliance.

3. Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Education: Degree or technical college Diploma in engineering or building construction.
  • Experience: 5 years of prior construction experience, understanding MSF Field Logistics is an asset.
  • Languages: Mandatory proficiency in Swahili and English; working knowledge of Somali is desirable.
  • Knowledge: Computer literacy, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge in construction-related fields.
