Position Overview

Job Title: Concrete Batching Machine Mechanic

Department: Sanitary Engineering

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Age Requirement: 25-35 years

Required Number: 1 Post (Preferably Male)

Job Responsibilities

As a Concrete Batching Machine Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our concrete batching machines. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Regular Maintenance: Conducting regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of the concrete batching machine.
• Preventative Maintenance: Implementing preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance machine longevity.
• Motor Replacement: Replacing motors and other critical components as needed to maintain machine functionality.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety regulations and policies are strictly followed by personnel working at the concrete batching plant.
• Additional Duties: Performing any other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Educational Background: Certificate in Plant Mechanic or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Plant Option) or a relevant field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical works, including motors and motor rewinding.
• Experience: More than 2 years of experience in a similar position, specifically with concrete batching machines/plants.
• Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Communication: Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Integrity: High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Self-Motivation: Self-driven with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Physical Fitness: Physically fit to work outdoors under various weather conditions.
• Flexibility: Flexible work schedule to meet the demands of the role.
