Key Responsibilities
1. Legal Advisory and Risk Management
- Provide legal advice on real estate acquisitions, leasing, property sales, and development.
- Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with property and real estate laws, including zoning and environmental regulations.
- Represent the company in negotiations with regulators, government agencies, and external counsel.
2. Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, joint ventures, and construction contracts.

- Manage a comprehensive database of legal contracts for renewals and amendments.
3. Corporate Governance and Compliance
- Support the Board of Directors in implementing corporate governance principles.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, tax regulations, and anti-money laundering requirements.
- Oversee intellectual property registration and compliance.
4. Litigation and Dispute Resolution
- Manage real estate-related litigation and arbitration processes.
- Resolve disputes involving tenants, landlords, and contractors efficiently.
- Liaise with external counsel while minimizing legal expenses.
5. Policy Development and Training
- Develop and update internal policies to reflect changes in regulations.
- Conduct legal training programs for employees on compliance and risk prevention.
6. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to provide legal insights.
- Build relationships with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders for seamless compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
Professional Experience
- 3–5 years of proven experience in real estate law, corporate law, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex real estate transactions and litigation cases.
