As a Community Liaison Officer at Tatu City, you’ll play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relations with local communities surrounding Tatu City and Kofinaf Land. We’re seeking a dedicated individual to lead outreach efforts, understand community concerns, and collaborate on solutions that drive long-term economic prosperity.
Responsibilities
Your mission is to make a real impact:
Recordkeeping and Data Analysis
- Maintain accurate records of data collected from community members.
- Keep detailed records of employed and unemployed individuals registered with the Labour Desk.
Skills Development
- Conduct regular needs analyses with contractors to identify required skills.
- Facilitate connections between job seekers and the training program.
- Track the employment placement of program graduates.
Community Engagement
- Ensure contractors hire from the local community as per contractual agreements.
- Manage casual laborer requirements efficiently.
- Oversee the Tatu City Training Academy and its curricula.
- Address community expectations and concerns proactively.
Event Coordination
- Plan and assist in community-related events that foster positive relationships.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Training Academy and Labour Desk.
- Capture all job seekers’ details in our comprehensive database.
Incident Handling
- Handle incident reports and community queries professionally and promptly.
- Supervise casual laborers engaged in Tatu City and Kofinaf Land activities.
- Coordinate with ARC Skills trainers to ensure seamless training progress.
Requirements
Do you have what it takes?
Hard Skills and Experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in community relations.
- Proven work experience as a Liaison or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse community members.
- Flexible, amicable, and community-oriented approach.
- Adherence to designated procedural guidelines.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Liaison.
