ABOUT THE TEAM

The Community Team at Sand Technologies is dedicated to supporting, engaging, and activating learners and graduates across our programs. We ensure that community health metrics are monitored and accurate, while also facilitating valuable peer-to-peer coaching initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Community Data Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our community initiatives by managing and analyzing critical data related to learners and graduates. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate data and developing dashboards that provide real-time insights into our community’s engagement. These insights will be essential for informing decisions that shape the future of our programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date learner and graduate data, serving as the single source of truth for the community team.
• Data Cleaning: Identify and remove duplicate entries and handle re-enrolled graduates effectively.
• Dashboard Support: Create, update, and maintain community dashboards to accurately reflect key metrics, enabling the team to track engagement and other data points.
• Community Insights: Provide data extraction and analysis to generate actionable insights for community initiatives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the community team and other departments to ensure data alignment across platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and experience with data management tools.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, ensuring clear exchanges of information with stakeholders across the organization.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and interpret data, providing valuable insights.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or other community management tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is crucial.
