As a Debt Collection Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts while upholding our commitment to excellent customer relationships and professional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Debt Collection Agent, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Debt Management
- Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments within the agreed-upon terms.
- Update account status and maintain an accurate, up-to-date database regularly.
2. Communication and Negotiation
- Locate and contact debtors to inquire about their payment status and discuss overdue payments.
- Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans tailored to the debtor’s circumstances.
- Handle questions or complaints from debtors with professionalism and empathy.
3. Discrepancy Resolution
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in debtor accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Create trust relationships with debtors to avoid future payment issues and maintain good customer relations.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for the Debt Collection Agent position at Tenakata Enterprises Limited, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a debt collector or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of successful debt recovery.
- Experience working with targets and tight deadlines, ensuring efficient and timely debt collection.
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements related to debt collection and financial regulations.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in database management.
Preferred Qualifications:
