1. Waiter – Embu, Kenya

Job Summary

As a Waiter at Camp Ndunda Falls, you will be the face of our dining experience. You will ensure that guests enjoy their meals and receive the highest level of customer service. This role is ideal for someone who is courteous, attentive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will be serving a variety of meals in our on-site restaurant while maintaining professionalism and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring they feel comfortable.
  • Take orders and deliver meals promptly while ensuring accuracy.
  • Provide menu recommendations to guests and inform them of special dishes and daily offerings.
  • Ensure table cleanliness and that all dining areas are kept neat and orderly.
  • Handle customer complaints gracefully and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Process payments and issue receipts to guests.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience as a Waiter or in a customer-facing role is preferred.

The ideal candidate will take pride in providing a clean, organized, and inviting space that enhances the guest experience. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our accommodation facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas daily, ensuring a pristine environment.
  • Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities for guest rooms.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and guest amenities as needed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs to management.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and restrooms.
  • Follow health and safety protocols, ensuring all cleaning procedures meet industry standards.
  • Assist with laundry duties, ensuring that linens are washed, dried, and folded to standard.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role in a hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.

Job Summary

At Camp Ndunda Falls, our Tour Guide plays a vital role in creating memorable and educational experiences for our guests. As a Tour Guide, you will lead groups on guided tours through the beautiful landscapes surrounding the camp, sharing your knowledge about local wildlife, history, and nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead groups on guided tours, providing information about the camp’s surrounding environment.
  • Share facts about local wildlife, plants, and history to enrich the guest experience.
  • Ensure the safety of guests during tours by following all camp safety guidelines.
  • Answer questions from guests and engage them with interesting stories and information.
  • Maintain equipment such as binoculars, maps, and other materials needed for the tours.
  • Collaborate with the camp management to develop new tour packages and itineraries.
  • Assist with guest inquiries about the camp’s activities and other tourist attractions in the area.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Tour Guide or similar role in the tourism industry.
  • Strong knowledge of local history, wildlife, and environmental conservation.

  • Physical fitness and the ability to walk long distances or hike on nature trails.
  • First Aid Certification is a plus.
