Overview
The Competition Authority of Kenya (‘the Authority’) is a Statutory Agency established under the Competition Act No. 12 of 2010. The Authority’s mission is to promote and safeguard competition, and protect consumers from unfair and misleading market conduct. As part of our commitment to nurturing young talent, we are offering a One-Year Internship Program for University graduates. This program aims to provide fresh graduates with practical work experience and enhance their skillsets and employability.
Positions Available
We invite suitably qualified applicants to apply for consideration to join the 2023 Internship Program in the following functional areas:

Requirements
To be considered for this internship opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualifications:
- Buyer Power: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Corporation Secretary and Legal Services: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized Institution.
- Enforcement & Compliance: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
- ICT: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Telecommunication/Electronic Engineering, or any equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- Planning, Policy and Research: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or any business-related degree.
- Supply Chain Management: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Administration, or any equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
General Requirements:
- Beneficiaries of the Authority’s previous Young Professionals and Internship Programs are not eligible.
- Must be below 35 years of age.
